Crucial Lander Module Separation( Later Today)

Chandrayan 3, which was lunched 34 days ago onboard GSLV-Mk3 or LVM-3 is the set for a major milestone- separation of the landing module comprising Vikram the lander and Pragyan the rover from the propulsion module.

On Wednesday, ISRO had the spacecraft- an integrated module with the propulsion module sitting on the top of the landing module into an orbit of 153km x 163 km an intended.

Once ISRO successfully separates the landing module the mission enters the last and most crucial leg of moon landing. Journey so far Chandrayan-3 a follow up mission to Chandrayan-2, which could not soft-land the lander as planned in September 2019 was conceived weak of the Chandrayan-2 failures.

ISRO nearly four years to get the spacecraft ready for lunch given that the lender had to undergo several changes, including the exclusion of fifth engine, strengthening of its legs, improvements in the algorithms, additional solar panel area, introducing of the new sensors.
